Emma recognized the place, how could she forget it. It was where she and Matthew first had their picnic together, just the two of them. Wrapping her shawl around herself more, she continued to follow Matthew who was now in front of her.
Emma wondered if Matthew had planned this all along, to bring them to this part of CS and reminisce about old times.
However she could not stop thinking about what had happened in the shop, Matthew had given her such kindness even when she could tell he was slightly agitated by Preston.
Turning to look at the beautiful scene before her eyes, Emma let a smile come to her lips. For words did not need to be expressed between the two, they have had already conversations about their lives they had both lead apart and so the silence between them was something peaceful.
Her eyes searched the distant land in front of them and wished she could capture that moment forever, as the sun bounced off the spring and hit the trees, casting sprinkles of light upon her face. "It's just like i always remembered" She said very very quietly to herself.
