The Reverend came into the church he looked up surprised to see Carl sitting there alone. The Reverend walked to the front pew and sat next to Carl. The Reverend could tell that Carl distant but he thought maybe this was his chance to have a real open conversation with him. The Reverend wanted more than anything to help Carl open up he hoped that Carl could trust him enough someday to open up. "The Lord has sure blessed us with a wonderful day" The Reverend said looking for some reaction from Carl and finding none. The Reverend wasn't sure he should say anything but thought maybe he should maybe Carl would feel more at ease with him if he talked first. "Carl, I hope you know that if there is ever anything you want to talk to about you can talk to me? It's just between you and I and I promise I'll do my best to help you in whatever way I can. "Is there something you would like to talk about Carl?" The Reverend sat waiting and hoping Carl would want to talk......

He wasn't someone who usually come to the fist and he knew that had probably scare or worry his mother - especially with the bad memories it probably open back.
