Bio: Grace grew up in New Orlean with her grandma and her aunt. They had the chance to work for a good boss in despite of the slaves status. She learn everything about the cooking since her young age.
The familly where they worked had some financial difficulty and it was more and more difficult for teh family to keep all their workers. When the Patrick Davis came with his wife and daughter visiting his cousin in New Orlean, it finaly ending with a new job for Grace whiche was hired by the Davis.
She started to work at the New Mexico ranch and finally followed the familly from New Mexico to Colorado Springs each years.
In 1868, she opened a restaurant in Colorado Springs with the help of Olive Davis. In the next year, she get engaged with the town blacksmith, Robert E. Another year later, Olive Davis passed away and Grace receive the woman part of the Café.
