ok i started rewatching DQ from season 4 and on. and in one of the episodes custer comes back and in watching it realized that the guy who plays preston is the guy who plays custer. am i the only one that saw that?
then in the one with the two con artist where they are talking about the home refrigerator. the guy who plays andrew is one of the guys who is the con artist. thought it was totally cute to see him in a role that is not so nice.

Yes, it happen 3 time. - For Custer-Preston, a comment from Joe telling about how it was funny to work with Jason, and he finally come back in a regulat role as Preston. Brandon Douglas played a guest character in the episode you said and back as regular at teh end fo teh season. Same for John which play Daniel in season 5 and regular in season 6, he played the cowboy with the baby in an episode of season 1. It seem that when the chemistry passed between the actors, they bring them back as regular later in the serie  |

Jessy, I just edited your title for your thread to "Actors playing different roles" so that anyone would know what this topic is about  ok i started rewatching DQ from season 4 and on. and in one of the episodes custer comes back and in watching it realized that the guy who plays preston is the guy who plays custer. am i the only one that saw that? I noticed this before I became a Preston-fan (lucky me lol). I’m not sure if I noticed it right away, but I know it didn’t take me long time to be aware of it. then in the one with the two con artist where they are talking about the home refrigerator. the guy who plays andrew is one of the guys who is the con artist. thought it was totally cute to see him in a role that is not so nice. Yeah, I love that episode too much! Brandon plays his role so good and that’s one of the main reasons why I love this eppy so much. When I first discovered DQ, I think I missed this episode and came to know Andrew’s character first (and that I’m glad of). When he plays the con-man I can’t help but giggle in a way, how he plays him so humoristic. LOL, I love when he walks out of the saloon and has this line "I love it when the girls pay me". So funny!!  Oh, and I think it’s pretty cool that with both characters Brandon play, he’s involved with Preston. They are so good together! (I know it isn’t big roles, but still) There’s Larry Sellers who played an Indian named Black Hawk before playing the character of Cloud Dancing. And Alley Mills who played one of Hank’s girls before playing Dr. Mike’s sister Marjorie. And some other Indians playing other Indians. |

it's ok you change the title i rly didnt know what to name it so that is cool.
I do like that line where the con-andrew says 'i do love it when the girls pay me'. it's so like arrogant and silly and retarted and cute all rolled into one.

Edward Albert, which portrayed Dr. William Burke in season 2! He also played Hank half-brother in the spin-off of California (DQ spin off about Hank leaving for Los Angeles for cultivate orange trees!).
Well, that isn't from DQ serie directly, but it was filmed with the cast (first part) and also was wrote by Beth Sullivan, but enver been aired (CBS didn't give the go for an complete season and keep Hank in DQ show) but it keep the spirit of give a second role to a previous actors, lol.

It’s great that you’re uploading what have been released on the net for the spin-off California, so fans are able to watch this – a must see. In my case, I’ve seen it and also have what you have Hel, on my PC. And you are right about Edward Albert also starring in this spin-off with Hank. Kinda cool to think that Hank has a half-brother  I’m not completely sure if he did die in the final scene where he was fighting with Hank, (there was this gunshot against him) but if not, then maybe an idea for the RPG to bring him in and Dr. Mike would think it’s William from Boston. Also, in the spin-off the actor Carlos Gómez, who played Teresa’s cousin was playing a priest (or he was a churchman at least). So he played a priest two times in two different roles….You could kinda just imagine that Hank came to that church where Carlos (yes he’s also named that in Dr. Quinn) was preaching. |

Hehe, yes i have them on my PC but they are .rm file (rela media), btu not everyone can watch this kidn of file and also it can't be uploaded on youtube and stuff like that. So I video capture it like I was recording my computer, but my webcam is my mic and for keep the sound with the clip, I should recording the voice/music with my webcam. But its mean that the children must sleep and not phoen call, or the sound around are registered and I have to restart again, lol. For the priest, I has doubt about the actor which played Teersa cousin, but I wasn't 100% sure. And for Hank half-brother, the scens can let to various possiblities, since we not see completes scene of everything happen. But we are far of the kindness of Dr. Burke in this character perfomance!!! :  |

What I have is the same file-format as you, but I think I’m able to change the format using a (precious) program of mine. Only that it’s not much of any help for you.
