It was the end of the morning and Annabelle finished her tea in the family summer house.

Annabelle: You are sure that you want to go to Havard?

The young woman wished that her brother would back in New-Orléan with her instead of left to Boston.

Sebastian: If I want be take seriously, I should Anna. And father invest a lot for this to be.


Annabelle: I know, but I'm nmot sure that is a place for you. They are so different there.

Sebastian: This is only for 5 years, and I will come bakc for the holidays for see you.

He smiled to her sister, in despite they didn't had a mother for reais them since years now, sometime his sister was very maternal with him.

A servant entered in the room for noticed them that Mr. Emerson buggy was arrived at the entrance. Sebastian stood up, walked toward Annabelle and give a kiss on her forehead.

Sebastian: And you don't have to worry, Albert with be there too. You come with me outside for the lunch?

Annabelle: I must admit that I'm not really hungry. I will go complete to pack my bags and will join you on the garden after.

After the lunch and discussion with Sebastian, Albert left the garden for a talk with Annabelle. He up to her room and knocked softly.

Albert: Annabelle?

Annabelle: You can enter.

He entered the room and saw her, sat in front her the mirro, few bags packaged side of her chair.

Albert: I miss you at the lunch. I was hoping to see you before left for Harvard.



For all answer, Annabelle smiled softly - she knew Albert since several years now and meet him each summer here in Oak Groove. Albert was always nice with her and she must admit that she appreciated it. She wasn't sure how to reply to his attention, she was reclusive since her mother death and she would wished that her late mother could be there for teach her the art of court - she felt really gauche by time. By chance, maybe, she didn't had to work for make a good match, their fathers already planned everything entouring their engagement to be.

Albert: I must admit that to know about you'll be there after my university just motive me to hurry to complete my studies. If-

He paused few seconds and glanced deeply in her gray eyes.

Albert: If you wish anything, tell me and I will do all in my power for bring it to you, just for you.

Annabelle: Promise to...

She glanced down few seconds, trying to not let her fear come over.

Annabelle: Promise to take care of Sebastian. I fear about him left there with all this fierce and rugged people. He isn't like them, he is a dreamer not a shark. That is the only think I want.

He could heard her worries in her voice - his hearth pinch. She could request anything and he would reverse wind and ocean for vring her anything and the only thing she wished was the good care of her brother. For few second, he could only imagine how a good mother she would be for their children and all the chance he had to having her. He took her hand and kissed it softly.

Albert: No worry Annabelle. I am your devoted servant. I promise you that nothing would happen to Sebastian. Father also take care about his presence in Havard for he be our roomates with me and my friend Preston.

In the middle of the afternoon, Annabelle was ready to left the plaec for go back to New-Orléan. While the servents was packaging the buggy with her bags, she huged her brother.

Annabelle: Take care of you Sebastian.

She try to keep her tears for herself - it was the first time that she was separated of her brother since their mother death and the current health of their fatehr wasn't good. She onyl hoped have enought strenght for deal with everything alone in New-Orléan.

Annabelle turned toward Albert and smiled to him.

Annabelle: I hope you'll have good time at Harvard.

She give him an envelope before be helped by Sebastian for up into the buggy.



Albert and Sebastian glanced to the buggy leaving the entrance and waved a last time to Annabelle.

Albert finaly opened the envelope and smiled when he noticed a picture of his beloved. Now he could bring her with him in Havard and was very impatient to show the picture to his best friend Preston.
