Even though Matthew, Colleen and Brian was not Michaela's children, the bond that was portrayed throughout the series touched me. It showed that love is as thick as blood and sometimes in different cases even thicker. It makes people feel hope for if they are going to foster or adopt. I find the episode 'The operation' truly shows how much the character Michaela loves the 'Cooper' children and how she would put her life on the line to make sure they would survive. It also shows how friendship can help you get through tough times and that in the end, you should never take anything for granted.
What episode do you find show the true love the 'Coopers' and 'Quinn's' have for each other?

I love the bond they share – nothing I’ve ever seen in other TV shows, perhaps one of the main reasons why I like DQ so much.
Mmm…another episode that shows their bond? Let me see….How about Cooper VS Quinn. In that episode Dr. Mike does everything to not let Ethan Cooper take Colleen and Brian away. Also the kids did all they could to escape their father (Colleen was near death by doing that) and Matthew showed some deep emotions thinking he was going to "loose" his siblings.
