He reached the Gazette just beside the clinic and caught site of Dorothy sitting in her chair writing something) Malvin: Excuse me, Miss Jennings? (Dorothy turned around to find Malvin holding out some notes) Malvin: These are new advertisements for bank-loans that Mr. Lodge asked me to give you, so they can be published in the next issue. (He handed Dorothy the notes, while reaching for some money in his pocket) Malvin: There are 25 words, so here are two bits. (With a small smile on his lips, he handed her the money, but his smile quickly disappeared, as he thought about tomorrow he no longer was to work around the bank and its duties, at least for a year, as the situation was)
