D2 - Morning - Searching for Samantha

[Charlotte Quessy]

Charlotte walked aroudn the school, searching for Samantha. She didn't knew if she was left to the town or elsewhere. She didn't knew enought Samantha for know what she could think at this time.

She walked toward the meadow when she finally saw her sat under a three on the other side.

While walking in her direction, she noticed an horserider left the road and coming in her direction. Charlotte recognized on of the guest at the boarding house.

When Daniel reach the teacher, he tapped his hat. "Mrs. Quessy."

He wondered why she wasn't at the school at this time of the day or why hte children wasn't with her. "It wasn't the first day of class this morning?"

[Charlotte Quessy]

Charlotte: Yes, first day of school.

Charlotte smiled ackwardly to the sheriff. She could try to create any reasons for avoid to tell the problems, but hse knew that it could only bring more troubles at the end.

Charlotte: Well, for tell the true, I lost a kid. There was some discord between the students and Samantha run away from the school. I didn't understood exactly what was behind this, but Samantha seem very affected.

The teacher bit her lip few seconds.

Charlotte: Now you know everything sheriff.

[Daniel Simon]

Daniel wasn't sure about what the discord was, but he remembered the fight in the street yesterday and wondering if it was for the same reason as yesterday.

He didn't knew very Mrs. Quessy, but he could imagine how she currently feel with this event, especially shortly after her arrival in town.

Daniel: She shouldn't be far away. Maybe I could help you to find her back, we couldn't take a chance to lost a teacher in these woods. I mean, I don't want to have to write in my report that we lost a teacher too today.

He smiled back to the teacher, he felt her nervosity and didn't wanted to worried her - she had enought on her shoulders right now.

Next minutes later, Charlotte found Samantha, sat behind a tree.

Charlotte: I found her sheriff!

Then she walked toward the tree, slowy.

Charlotte: Miss Bing?

The girl turned her head and looked to the teacher. Her eyes was red - showning that she cried previously.

Charlotte: We are waiting for you at school.

Samantha denied with a sign of her head.

Charlotte: You want to talk me abot something? I know that isn't easy to arrive in a new town. And you have chance, you had already friends here. Not like me and Carl, we not knowing anyone here.

Samantha: But Carl have me, as a friend.

Charlotte: Yes, and that is why he worries about you left the school too. Maybe you would like I talk with your parents?

Samantha: No, please Mrs. Quessy.

And the kid stood up and walked toward Charlotte.



Samantha: I don't want to return to St-Louis, not now. Not that I don't like be there, but I want to continue to see my father everyday too.

Charlotte: I can talk to Luke if you want? Trying to find why he is so nasty with you? I can't tolerate a such act in my class.

Samantha: I don't want trouble Mrs. Quessy.

Charlotte: You will not have Samantha, you did nothing wrong.

The sheriff arrived behind Charlotte.

Daniel: Everything is fine Mrs. Quessy?

Samantha quickly answered before the teacher.

Samantha: Yes Daniel, we were on our way back to the school.
