(Preston walked with his guests a little away from the clinic)
Preston: So right here, across from the clinic, lays the Gold Nugget. It’s supposed to be both saloon and hotel, but if you ask me, the facility of the rooms doesn’t at all qualify for rental usage. (While turning his head)
Oh, and coming up, we have Bray’s Mercantile. The owner can do so much with the place, but unfortunately he has a lack of business knowledge. I once tried to purchase the place, but someone nosy enough to stick her head in others business, got in the way, and plans were changed.
(After visiting places such as The Gazette, the library, Jake’s barber, and seeing the church from outside, Preston, Annabelle and Albert were now standing outside the bank)
Preston: Magnificent building, isn’t it? Albert, sometime later I will be sure to show you the inside of this wonder, and then we could have one of our old business discussions.
Well, as much as I want to show the rest of this town, we should best be thinking of heading out to my homestead. I will defiantly not be the one responsible for exhausting you Annabelle.
(Preston gave a smile, while turning to Albert. Annabelle couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed, but went along with a smile. Few minutes later, Preston, Annabelle and Albert got into a carriage and began to head out to the homestead)
Preston: Well, what do you think? Isn’t this nature the most beautiful you’ve ever seen? This is one of the things I admire about Colorado Springs. It’s peaceful and the sites out here are none you ever will see or compare to the likes of Boston or any other town for the matter of fact. This truly is a perfect place to raise ones family.
(Albert and Annabelle seemed to agree as they glanced at the nature they passed by)
Preston: Would you look at that! That’s Pikes Peak, one of the greatest mountains ever to exist. I haven’t climbed it myself, as I have no attention of suicide whatsoever. Well that is to say, I wouldn’t climb a mountain that big without any guarantee I’ll come back safely. I say, better to enjoy the view of it, then to enjoy its own view from above.
