After his mother asked him, Frans left the clinic and entered the Gold Nugget again. He wasn't sure what to think about Hank - this man was really his uncle? But he quickly forget his questions when he saw again Mae. He sighed to himself - dam that he wasn't older!

Frans looked around him - 'did something wrong' he thought to himself for finally stumble in a chair. The customer who was sat on spil his whiskey on the table un happy.
"Sorry." the boy said while heard the foul language of the man.

"And what the idea to bring kids there?" the man shouted while stood up and try to grip Frans by his right arm.
Frans stepped back from the drunk man and looked his uncle.

Hank grabbed the man's arm and placed Frans behind him "Since this is my bar. Now you can sit down and order another drink or you can leave."

The drunk man grumbled soemn words before sit down again on his chair.
Mae noticed Frans reaction which glanced the other customers. "Your customers scare the kid Hank!" she said while bring him tendrely near the bar.

Hank made sure the man wasn't going to make another scene before he turned back to Frans. "Its ok kid. You'll be safe with me."

Frans wasn't sure of what Hank said, but he promised to his mother to listen and do what the man will said.
"Do you want a soup?" asked Mae while bring a bowl on the counter.
Frans nodded while sitting. He acwardly took the sthingy with his right-arm (he is left-handed and have the left arm broken) and started to eat.
"We have fried chicken too if you want some." Mae said to the boy.
Frans eyes shinned - chicken? His thought gone to his mother who never ate meat since her own childhood by not like to kill any animals - which mean that when he is with his mother, he don't eat any kind of meat.
"Sure!" Frans answered.

"I don't know." Frans replied while thought about the last week they didn't knew that they would left so quickly to somewhere else.
"It would be a change for sure, but it can probably be worse than before." he said while sample the chicken.

Carl nodded - how he missed this life before his father death.
" 'Ma work hard since and her nights are short. She often make nightmares since his death. I hope that will help to forget..." he said sadly.
"She said that we will learn Spanish when we will be there." he said, trying to not think to his father or step-father - he felt sad by thinking to the first and anger about the second, but he knew that a boy should show some weakness feeling.
