Tilly Smith, had wandered from the Genral store and now was near the clinc. She didnt want to stay with her father but to play. The little 2 year old walked over, her father not notcing she was gone since he was busy. The little blonde curly head bobbed up and down as she walked and tried to reach the door knob. Humming to herself, she went on tip toes.

**View the previous thread with Mr. Gormley: Click Here**(On his way to the Gazette, to give Dorothy some new bank-advertisements to be published, Malvin noticed the young girl alone outside the clinic door) Malvin: Hello there. Are you all by yourself? (He looked curious around to find her parents) Malvin: Where’s your mother? (He looked at the clinic door and wondered if she perhaps was in there)

The little girl turned around and looked at him. "mama..." Tilly stopped, she didn't know where her mother was. Her sister used to tell her about her mother.. "With angels" she said finally, remembering how her father had explained to her once. Looking at him the little toddler turned her head on the side, with a small smile she pointed at the clinc door. "open..peas? (please) " she asked

(Malvin tried to smile to the little girl, but the words Tilly used about her mother, led him to have a feeling towards what had happened, but wasn’t sure. He thought someone had to be in the clinic, who was the child’s guardian. He walked closer towards the clinic door)
Malvin: Alright, let’s see if someone you know is in here.
(While keeping a close eye on Tilly, Malvin knocked on the clinic door)

Hank opened the door and stopped in surprised at seeing a little girl standing at the door. He looked around and saw Malvin "She your's?"

(Malvin almost gave a jump when Hank opened the door. He was most defiantly not expecting to find him in the entrance. Gormley had never really talked to Hank before, so he was a bit afraid to answer the tall man before him, but the question he received was something he had to answer quickly) Malvin: Oh, no, no. I was just here to find out if her mother perhaps was inside the clinic. Are you aware of that? (Malvin was still afraid of Hank’s character and tried to avoid eye-contact)

Hank watched the man trying to avoid eye contact and almost smiled at his nervousness. "No she's not inside and you shouldn't go in right now."

As the two men talk, Tilly walked passed them and went into the clinic. Looking around she stopped. She thought she saw a lady who seemed to match the description of her mother. Tilly had heard her sister describe their mother over and over again. Lady in white, special person who had long hair. The little girl wondered something and so began to approach more into the room. "mama?" she questioned.

(Not sure of what Hank meant by that he shouldn’t enter the clinic, Malvin looked down to where he last saw Tilly, but now he couldn’t seem to spot her) Malvin: W-where is she? (He glanced nervously panicking around and suddenly noticed behind Hank, that she had entered the clinic) Malvin: There! She is in there! (He pointed passed Hank towards the clinic’s entrance. Hank turned around) **Tag Hank**

The little girl wiggled in Hank's arms. "mama..." she said pointing over his shoulder. "my ma'ma" she said again, she turned to face Hank and rubbed her eyes, as her bottom lip quivered. The blonde child went quiet, looking over Hank's shoulder "pea (please) down..." she said finially after a while.

(The site of Hank holding Tilly in his arms, made Malvin relax about the situation, that the child now was being "taken care of" and that his burden of finding the lost child, now was removed) Malvin: Well, I really must be going. I can’t be away from the bank more than ten minutes. (Without looking back, Malvin left Hank with Tilly, in the clinic doorway) **Continues at the Gazette: Click Here**

Hank frowned and watched the man go "Hey come back here." When he didn't come back Hank sighed and looked at the child "Your ma ain't in there."

Looking around the store, Tom Smith had collected most what he needed. "Come Tilly let's pay..." he paused. He dropped all the things on the counter and looked around the shop. "Tilly...no hide and seek" he whispered as he peered around the corner. Looking over at the step, he noticed her bonnet. Going over to it, Tom picked it up and looked around himself and opposite to where he stood. Feeling he was a bad father, his eyes searched for where Tilly could have been. His heart beating in his chest, had made him nervous for his daughter. Yet it missed a beat as he noticed a man by the clinic with a child. Running over, he went straight to Hank. "Tilly" he shouted as he approached the man.
Tilly turned to look at him "Pa" she whispered, putting her hands out for him to take her from Hank. "What Happened?" Tom asked mainly to Hank as he took his daughter off him.
