**View the previous thread with Preston: Click Here**(Preston and Annabelle had walked for ten minutes and were now a bit outside town, in a more nature-like environment. The sun was shining bright with a light cool wind) Preston: What do you think about the nature around these parts? I must admit, I rarely find time to enjoy a simple common walk like this. It seems as there’s always something that keeps me away. (He glanced around and was proud to show such beautiful sites to Annabelle)

Cloud Dancing sat under a tree eating a meal after his morning hunt when he heard voices. He waited and watched to see who it was.

(Annabelle seemed amazed of what she was seeing and couldn’t put words to it. Preston looked at her, glad about her positive reaction to the surroundings, but then remembered that she was carrying a child and that he shouldn’t exhaust her too much by walking too fare into the wilderness. He then thought about his visit to Grace’s café and that Grace was in the same condition as Annabelle) Preston: You know, a woman in town, who owns a café, Grace. She is with child. Perhaps you would like to talk to her while you are in town. I’m sure she would be glad to speak with you. I would imagine you wouldn’t want to be alone with your condition.

He hoped that whoever was near wouldn't cause him any trouble. He gathered his things just in case.

Annabelle: It could be interesting.
Annabelle nodded to Preston while trying to make a small smile. In despite that Albert and Preston seem to worked hard about she could feel well, the woman felt always lost and lonely in all this 'new world and life'.
Her glanced turned back toward Cloud Dancing.
Annabelle: There is a lot of them living around in the wood?
While bit her lip, she continued to examining carrefully his clothes and accessories - it was very different of what she seemed accostumed to see - wild and colorful.

(Just as Preston turned to look in Annabelle’s direction, Cloud Dancing had hid again) Preston: Who Annabelle? Who?? (Preston glanced around curiously to what Annabelle was giving a comment about. Without thinking further he stepped few steps away from Annabelle and turned around to her) Preston: Stay here, I’ll find out who or what it is. (He slowly began to walk against Cloud Dancing’s hiding) Preston: Someone there? You best come out and show yourself... (Now he only wished he had some kind of protection with him, but he didn’t think a gun was necessary when walking just a bit away from town. He stood still and waited with his heart pounding just a little faster than usual)

(Preston felt somehow relieved when Cloud Dancing revealed himself. He stepped a few steps closer towards Cloud Dancing, feeling relaxed about the unexpected encounter) Preston: Cloud Dancing what are you doing here? You have some sort of trade you are on your way to accomplish in town, because you know, that was the agreement with the army to grant you free passage to Colorado Springs. (He looked patient at Cloud Dancing, then turned his head towards Annabelle with a nod, that there was nothing to fear and then he turned his head back to receive an answer) **Tag Cloud Dancing**

"Yes I am. I stopped to hunt something to eat after all it is midday." Cloud Dancing looked up at the sky then back to Preston. "And I do remember the agreement with your army."

(Preston moved a bit closer, glancing behind Cloud Dancing, trying to spot some goods, and then looked back at him) Preston: Good, because I wouldn’t want to be the one turning you into the army, for not abiding the rules in which should be followed. (While Preston gave a sharp smile, Cloud Dancing noticed Annabelle and said hello. Preston turned his head towards Annabelle) Preston: Annabelle, I’d like you to meet Cloud Dancing. He’s a friend of Colorado Springs and has quite a reputation.

When Cloud said hello to her, Annabelle tried to hide her surprise. The woman nodded to Preston, while walking slowy towards the men.
She tried to imagine what her mother-in-law would said if she was here to see her talking to an indian. Mrs. Emerson was against Albert's idea to bring her here, near the savages and lost lands - not a place for a lady she repeated often.
Annabelle: Hello.
Not so sure, she extended her arm for an handshake.

(Preston turned red for a second of the thought, but was outraged by the sudden improper comment) Preston: My, you certainly have a way of expressing yourself Cloud Dancing. No, this is Annabelle Emerson. She’s the wife of my closest friend Albert Emerson. Due to an accident, caused under little known circumstances, Annabelle is in town while recovering her lost memory.
